A place to relax.

It's no wonder the beach in the background is largely abandoned and unused due to a cement factory and open pit mines in the surrounding area.

What an odd location to place a park bench! Luckily the fumes of the cement factories smoke stack don't reach here, although nothing can be done about it's ugly sight.

What once was and is now. Open mining has made a mess of the once natural mountain slopes.

The cement factory is surrounded by this town. As I drove through the town and past the factory, the smell of sulfur was omnipresent. I can only imagine the health risks.

In a few years the mountains will have disappeared to the open mining quarry. Maybe one day so will the town!
