When the wind blows

Lebanese mountain chains, mighty and beautiful as if in ancient mythology.

Sloping towards the sea, meeting the blue waters of the Mediterranean.

Populated by fauna and flora, colorful and exotic.

... but also very fragile.

Then under the summer sun.

The wind blows. Lebanese mountains and villages are plagued with fires that could be avoided just by using common sense. Think twice before putting fire to anything.

For nature does not stand a chance against this element. Fires spread to inaccessible areas and consume considerable surfaces in their flames before they are put out.

We can't afford scorching more of Lebanese mountains.

We can help, nature adapts, survives.
